Campaign for Wool
The Campaign for Wool is a coalition of key organisations in the wool industry working together to raise awareness of Wool

As part of this campaign, a group has been formed to produce from British Wool, a cushion for each athlete in GB Olymic squad. It’s called the Woolsack project http://www.woolsack.org/ and when I manage to clear current work off the loom, I hope to start weaving up some shetland wool from fleeces donated by a flock master near Buxton, spun by members of the Clwyd Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.

I also pledge that my next rug will be completely made from British Wool even though this currently means that it’ll be handspun so that I know exactly where it came from (for example, the dark brown is Swarbles fleece from Wales)
