Hello

Sycamore is a very common tree but for some reason I have never worked with it- preferring to use ash, beech and oaks- that all changed recently when I was commissioned to make several hollow forms and it had to be sycamore. Luckily my friendly local tree surgeon had some logs in his yard which were from a local woodland forestry management scheme. So on a very blustery day in early January I fetched 1/2 tonne.
